The OnSec web application is used to conduct and organize safety instructions that are required under occupational health and safety legislation to ensure safe operations at HSD. The scope of data processing is described below.
The data will be deleted as soon as it is no longer required to achieve the purpose for which it was collected.
The legal basis for conducting safety instructions and for processing or storing personal data is provided by DGUV Vorschrift 1 §4 and DGUV Information 211-005 Abschnitt 11. In conjunction with these provisions, the processing of personal data pursuant to Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. e) DSGVO is necessary for the performance of the university's tasks carried out in the public interest. Storage of the data is necessary to comply with the legal obligation pursuant to Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. c).
You have the right to obtain information about the data stored about you. You have the right to have inaccurate data corrected and data that is no longer required deleted. You have the right to object to further data processing on grounds relating to your particular situation. In certain cases, pursuant to Article 18 of the EU General Data Protection Regulation, you have the right to restrict the processing of the data stored about you. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the data protection supervisory authority either in the Member State of your residence or with the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of North Rhine-Westphalia (www.ldi.nrw.de), the data protection supervisory authority for Düsseldorf University of Applied Sciences.
Personal data is collected on the Düsseldorf University of Applied Sciences server only to the extent technically necessary. Under no circumstances will the collected data be sold or disclosed to third parties for other reasons. We automatically collect and store information transmitted to us by your browser in the web server log files. This information includes:
